This time around, you are really up against it. The eleventh
tee box is a good distance back from the second. This distance takes into account a
fairway mound and its all uphill. As the Index of the eleventh hole (1) indicates, this
hole is a difficult uphill hole. Although a good drive will set you up for a good second
shot, there are many hazards to consider when driving. On the left, there is dense trees ~
don't get caught here! On the right, there are pockets of trees which will capture the
long and slightly wayward driver.Your second shot will most certainly be an uphill shot
to set up your approach shot.
Your approach shot will have to be good as this 418 metre hole will punish the wayward.
The elevated green is surrounded by steep banks and any error will certainly cost you a
shot if not two.
Even when you get to the putting surface, the pin position can be extremely difficult.
Although the favoured pin position is to the front, this position is deadly. Downhill
putts can often be seen traveling off the green.
