If you thought the third tee box was bad, think again! The
twelfth tee is further back into the gorse and thicket. It is a daunting experience
standing on the twelfth tee box. Your partner should climb the stairs to check the coast
is clear ~ tell them to stay there to watch for your ball.Assuming you make it over the
hazard, a good drive will set you up for a birdy opportunity as your second shot will most
likely be a wedge or a nine iron. Even the big hitters would want the wind behind them
this time to make the green.
Don't be wayward on this hole ~ out of bounds are all the way down the left and those
trees we mentioned (on the second) also help to hamper the wayward drives on the right of
the twelfth.
The green on this hole is almost completely surrounded by bunkers. Some have been newly
developed and others are going to be developed over the coming year. The bunker in front
of the twelfth green is particularly deep and troublesome.
The green itself is full of it's own surprises.
