This event has been an important part of the Foxrock Golf Club Diary for over 50 years now and has re-established itself in recent years as one of the most prominent match-play events for club golfers on the Leinster golf scene.

The event will tee-off on Sunday 6th of July when up to 60 pairs will compete in a qualifying round, with 16 pairs going forward to the match-play rounds from Monday 7th July and finishing up with the final on Friday 11th July, followed by the presentation dinner where the winners will be presented with the Claret Jug Trophy that evening.

While this event has always been played in the spirit of friendship it has become notable for its highly competitive nature which has resulted in some fantastic quality golf being played throughout the competition.
